Nashik is an ancient holy city in Maharashtra, a state in western India. It’s known for its links to the “Ramayana” epic poem. On the Godavari River is Panchavati, a temple complex. Nearby, Lord Rama was thought to have bathed at Ram Kund water tank, today attended by Hindu devotees. Shri Kalaram Sansthan Mandir is an ancient shrine to Rama, while Rama and Sita are said to have worshipped at Sita Gufaa caves. Shirdi is a town in the state of Maharashtra, in western India. It's known as the former home of revered spiritual leader Sai Baba and as a major pilgrimage site. Devotees gather daily at the Sai Baba Temple complex to honor his legacy. Here, the Samadhi Mandir shrine has an ornate marble statue of Sai Baba, alongside his tomb. Close by are Dwarkamai, a mosque where Sai Baba once lived, and tree-lined Lendi Garden. Aurangabad is a city in Maharashtra state, in India. It’s known for the 17th-century marble Bibi ka Maqbara shrine, styled on the Taj Mahal. The nearby Shivaji Maharaj Museum, dedicated to the Maratha king Shivaji, displays war weapons and a coin collection. North of the city, the Aurangabad Caves comprise ancient, rock-cut Buddhist shrines. West of the city, battlements surround the medieval Daulatabad Fort. Ellora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, India. It is one of the largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes in the world, featuring Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain monuments, and artwork, dating from the 600–1000 CE period.
Meet on arrival at Mumbai Airport and transfer to Hotel. Relax and later proceed for local sightseeing visit Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Juhu Beach, Siddhi Vinayak Temple, Gateway of India and Marine Drive etc. Back to hotel. Overnight.
Breakfast check out and drive to Nashik, On arrival check into Hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing visit the Ramkund, Muktidham temple, Trimbakeshwar temple. Later in the day visit the Kushavarta, the place where the holy river Godavari takes its course. A dip in this sacred river wipes off the sins is the belief of people. Back to the hotel. Overnight.
Morning breakfast checkout and drive to Shirdi is a beautiful shrine that was built over the Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba. On arrival check into Hotel. Later visit Sai Babas Samadhi Mandir and the Dwarkamai Mosque. The Sai Babas Samadhi Mandir is the place where the sacred body of Baba is resting in Samadhi. The Dwarkamai Mosque is the place where Lord Sai Baba stayed until the very end of his life. Overnight
Breakfast check out and drive to Aurangabad Enroute to visit Sani Singanapur. Later drive to Aurangabad. On arrival check into Hotel. Later visit World Heritage site of Ellora caves - These caves showcase a strong spiritual connection with 5 caves dedicated to Jainism, 12 caves to Buddhism and 17 to Hinduism. The Ellora caves are the house of 34 monasteries. Back to the hotel. Overnight. (Ellora Caves is closed on Tuesday)
Day trip to Ajanta Caves - caves were discovered by the British maneuvering troops in 1819. This consists of 24 monasteries and 5 temples some of which are over 2000 years old. The story of Lord Buddha is depicted in the frescoes which are remarkable. (Ajanta Caves is Closed on Monday) Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast check out and drive to Pune. On arrival drop to Airport to board the flight to Bangalore. Tour Ends.
